Offering cruises around the world is wide and varied. We put today our eyes on cruises by rivers of Europe trying to show the most popular alternatives and some others from which to choose.
From Vienna to Bucharest: from the heart of the Danube to the Black Sea. A segment of the route you take. Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Batina, Vukovar, Belgrade, Kostolac, Vidin, Rousse and Giurgiu (near Bucharest).
Vienna to Nürnberg: Danube River. It starts in the Austrian capital to go to Krems, Wachau, Melk, Passau, Regensburg to Nuremberg.
From Amsterdam to Basel: Rhine and Moselle river. Starts in Amsterdam but segments can take more shorts from intermediate points. Cologne, Koblenz, Cochem, Trier, Wasserbillig (Luxembourg), Bernkastel, Rüdesheim, Strasbourg, Basel.
Nuremberg to Basel: Rhine River. On the route it passes through Basel, Bamberg, Würzburg, Miltenberg, Aschaffenburg, Rüdesheim, Heidelberg and Strasbourg.
Burgundy and Provence: rivers Rhone and Saone. Arles and from Chalôn-sur-Saone (or vice versa), passing through Lyon, Toulon, Avignon and Viviers.
Normandie: Seine River. From Paris to Vernon (or vice versa), via Les Andelys, Rouen and Northern. A different way of exploring the beaches of D-day
Portugal and Spain: Rio Douro. From Porto (Portugal) to Salamanca (Spain), making stops in Bitetos, Régua (Lamego) and Pinhão.
Of St. Petersbugo Moscow: by the Neva River, Lake Ladoga, River Svir, Lake Onega, Volga canal and the Moscow canal. Passing through Yaroslavl, Uglich, Kizhi and Goritzy with various heritage sites.
From Odessa to Kyiv: Black Sea and Dnieper River. Sevastopol, Yalta, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kremenchuk and Kiev.
From Berlin to Prague: Elbe River. Berlin, Magdeburg, Dessau, Wittenberg & Torgau, Meisen, Dresden, Litomerice, Prague.
While the traditional cruise on the Rin remains as it passes through the famous "Black Forest", the less traditional options are gaining ground.
Cruises on the rivers of Europe are very quiet and really relaxing, European river cruises have nothing to envy to the ocean cruises.
