As with other companies, Norwegian Cruise Line also has its own private island, used as a scale in some of their cruises. In fact it was the first company to take over the island Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas and make it scale cruise ships which landed today as the Norwegian Pearl, Gem, Jewel and the next year will the Breakaway.

But now the island has been improved, some areas have been accommodated including some exclusive cabanas and a VIP service for passengers who wish to have special attention during their stay on the island. Up to 25 million dollars have cost all of these improvements have been carried out on the island of Great Stirrup.

No doubt the main attraction is these private cabanas, priced at $ 250 per cabin and up to 6 people, offer an exclusive service of the highest standard and offering maximum relaxation possible. These cabins have couches, tables, coolers, towels, etc … Also, you can enjoy an excellent menu a few meters from the seashore. Passengers are treated to bottles of water and a fruit basket.

Since NCL in 1978 was done with this island, the activities have changed much. The island has been properly equipped for passengers, and today there are made all kinds of activities, from the simplest ecological tours by boat on the island, to other more adventurous activities like Kaya, diving and paragliding.
